What this extension does
Direct Fares runs inside your GDS web terminal (Sabre Red Web, Amadeus Selling Platform
Connect, Travelport Galileo). While you view a schedule or price an itinerary, it looks up the
same trip in your booking provider's engine and shows you when it is cheaper. It is
read-only: it does not book, ticket, or change anything in your GDS.
What data we access
- The visible text of the GDS terminal page it runs on
(
*.sabre.com, sellingplatformconnect.amadeus.com,
galileoterminal.com) - only to detect the route, dates and fare you are
currently looking at.
- We do not read card numbers, CVV, payment details, or passenger personal
data from the terminal.
What we send
- The detected route (origin, destination, date, passenger counts) and your
access token to the booking API you configured, to fetch fares.
- Nothing else leaves your browser. No card data, no passenger PII.
What we store
- Only your settings (API host and access token) in the browser's local
extension storage. Nothing is stored on our side by the extension itself.
What we do not do
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising.
- No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
Permissions
- GDS terminal hosts - to read the schedule/fare you are viewing.
- Your booking API host - to fetch fares and open the booking page.
- Storage - to keep your settings.
Data handling by your provider
Searches you run through the extension are processed by your booking provider under their own
terms and privacy policy. This extension is a thin client to that service.
